Come join the Southington Land Conservation Trust and KinderWild Nature-Based Play & Learning to learn about how kids can help the Earth and join us as we clean up the pond and surrounding area at Panthorn Park. Bring gloves, a bucket or repurposed bag, and grabbers if you have them. We'll have a limited supply to lend out as well.We'll meet in the clearing just over the bridge by the pond. Look for a blue tarp! Join us at near the Quinnipiac River to clean up this boat launch area for Earth Day with the SLCT. Bring gloves, grabbers if you have them, water, and a bucket or re-used bag to collect the litter. The Southington Land Conservation Trust is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1973 that seeks to preserve nature in our community. We host work parties which include general trail cleanup, litter cleanup, planting native flowers and trees, weeding invasives, and other outdoor activities like hikes, nature walks, and educational events.
