What are you looking for?

We are hosting a charity wiffle ball tournament to benefit special Olympics CT. While it is a full day for us hosting the event, we are looking for volunteers in either 4 or 8 hour blocks. We will be arriving at the field for 7am, but volunteers can choose what time works best for them. We are looking for assistance with checking teams in, score keepers, timers, and possibly concessions. It is very easy work, but the benefits are immense to our special olympic athletes. Lead occasional Zumba fitness sessions for HRA staff to encourage movement, stress relief, andwellness among human service professionals. Activities:- Lead a Zumba class for staff - Provide warm-up and cool-down guidance - Encourage participation for all fitness levelsIdeal Volunteer:Certified Zumba instructor or experienced fitness instructor interested in supportingcommunity service workers.

Based in New Britain, Connecticut, Black Lion F.C. Academy is a youth soccer organization dedicated to empowering boys and girls (ages U8–U15) through a unique blend of athletic excellence and character development. In proud partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of New Britain, we strive to create a level playing field where athletes from all backgrounds can access high-quality coaching that fosters healthy growth, confidence, and positive social change. Our sessions are held every Saturday morning from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, providing a consistent, supportive environment where players can master technical skills and learn the value of sportsmanship.
