Come join the Southington Land Conservation Trust and KinderWild Nature-Based Play & Learning to learn about how kids can help the Earth and join us as we clean up the pond and surrounding area at Panthorn Park. CT BHI will hold their 23rd annual RACE IN THE PARK on May 9th. The day begins with a Survivor Breakfast followed by a 5K, Kids' Fun Run and 4K/1Mile Walk. We will also have Build in the Park by Home Depot, food trucks, raffle, merchandise tent, beer garden and much more! We are looking for help in planning the event as well as volunteer on RACE day. Help in planning the event includes helping to get sponsors, auction/raffle donations, kids events, Survivor Breakfast, PR etc... Parking cars is great way to support the arts! Volunteers are provided a reflective vest to wear while and assisting families with parking or working the tickets booth to help SoCCA raise money.
