Earth Day Cleanup
Southington Land Conservation Trust
Join us at near the Quinnipiac River to clean up this boat launch area for Earth Day with the SLCT. Bring gloves, grabbers if you have them, water, and a bucket or re-used bag to collect the litter. Kids Clean-Up!
Southington Land Conservation Trust
Come join the Southington Land Conservation Trust and KinderWild Nature-Based Play & Learning to learn about how kids can help the Earth and join us as we clean up the pond and surrounding area at Panthorn Park. Bring gloves, a bucket or repurposed bag, and grabbers if you have them. We'll have a limited supply to lend out as well.We'll meet in the clearing just over the bridge by the pond. RACE IN THE PARK
Connecticut Breast Health Initiative
CT BHI will hold their 23rd annual RACE IN THE PARK on May 9th. The day begins with a Survivor Breakfast followed by a 5K, Kids' Fun Run and 4K/1Mile Walk. We will also have Build in the Park by Home Depot, food trucks, raffle, merchandise tent, beer garden and much more! We are looking for help in planning the event as well as volunteer on RACE day. Help in planning the event includes helping to get sponsors, auction/raffle donations, kids events, Survivor Breakfast, PR etc...
