Connecticut Breast Health Initiative

We have openings on our Grant Committee. As a Grant committee member you would help solicit request for proposals (RFPs) from around the state for breast cancer research projects, read proposals, make recommendations to the Board based on our criteria and budget, helps plans our grants awards event (SMARTY PARTY). Our committee consists of educators, survivors, physicians, nurses, other volunteers etc.. We have open positions on our Board of Directors. We have 11 meetings a year, a once a month commitment. Being part of the Board includes being committed and dedicated to our mission and to help carry out our mission. A Board member attends monthly Board meetings, volunteers and helps with CT BHI events, is part of at least one committee, helps oversee the organizations financial resources, actively represents and be an advocate for CT BHI in the community etc...
